What Estate Documents Can I Upload?

As is the case with Holistiplan’s Tax and Insurance products:
- Documents should be in PDF format
- Each document must be uploaded to the request as a separate and complete document
- Max file size: 50MB per document
Naming conventions used for your documents do not determine how the documents are actually treated, but the file names will show up on the report itself to list the documents that were reviewed. Because of this, you may want to update the file name before uploading.
Will & Trust Tool
Generally, Wills, Living Trusts, and Inter vivos Irrevocable Trusts (during life) and documents that amend or modify their terms are supported in Holistiplan. Please see the table below for details on which documents are supported.

Holistiplan Estate can provide consolidated Will & Trust summaries for up to 2 household members. Be sure to select both household members within the Will and Trust module’s upload modal.
An Inter vivos Irrevocable Trust is created during the lifetime of the trust maker (not a Living Trust that has now become Irrevocable).
Draft documents can be uploaded, but the review output will be limited to what is available in the draft.
Financial Power of Attorney & Health Care Directives Tools
Incapacity planning documents, such as Financial Power of Attorney (POA), Medical Power of Attorney (POA), and Living Wills, are all generally supported by Holistiplan’s Estate module. For Health Care Directives, Health Care Power of Attorney, Health Care Surrogate, Advanced Directives, and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) authorizations are supported.
Draft documents can be uploaded, but the review output will be limited to what is available in the draft.
Please be aware that clients using state-adopted statutory forms generally do not indicate their intention to grant agent’s powers on draft documents.
