Field Notes and Calculation Rows
Use Field Notes in Scenario Analysis to add details about a specific entry or use Calculation Rows to list income items that can be summed within the main Scenario Analysis screen.
Field Notes allow you to add notes to any editable field within Scenario Analysis. Include details as to how you arrived at a particular value, or why you chose not to include something in a specific field.
To access notes and calculations rows, hover your cursor on the right-hand side of the data entry field, and a note icon will appear. Click on the icon or text to open the note.

Note: Fields that include a worksheet (as indicated by the pencil icon) may require you to enter notes within that worksheet, and not on the main Scenario Analysis page.
Once the notes worksheet is open, you can add a note and/or add calculation rows to itemize certain line items into the total.

To add a calculation row, click on the blue "+ Add Calculation Row" button. You can then enter the description and amount of that item in the worksheet, such as the various sources of interest income as shown below.

To push the sum of the individual rows to the main scenario page, click the teal Save & Fill Calculation button. Alternatively, you can save the information in the notes box and not push the sum to the scenario page (thereby maintaining any value entered directly into the field in the primary scenario screen) by clicking the Save Only button.
Once back on the main Scenario Analysis screen, you will see colored triangles to indicate the presence of any field notes and/or calculations for a particular field, as well as the note entered, as shown below. Yellow triangles indicate the presence of field notes, while teal triangles indicate the presence of sub-calculations.

When you move a scenario to the Scenario Bank, any field-level notes will accompany the scenario.
You can also perform a mass deletion of your text notes or sub-entries by clicking the three dots circled in red below, next to the scenario title.
You can delete all text field notes in the scenario by selecting Delete Notes.
You can delete all calculation rows by selecting Delete Sub-Entries.
Field notes can be printed, but calculation rows cannot. The option to print Field Notes appears after clicking Print in the upper right-hand corner of the scenario analysis screen. Select Show Notes.
If you're printing multiple scenario analyses, you can individually show or hide those notes on a per-scenario basis by checking the box to "Hide Notes" on a specific scenario.
