I Can't Edit Anything in Scenario Analysis. What's Happening?

By default, the first scenario in a Scenario Analysis generated from a tax return upload is a replica of that uploaded return. This scenario is static and un-editable. Similarly, you cannot edit scenarios generated by clicking "Load Tax Return (Read Only)" in the "+ Add a Scenario" menu.


To create an editable scenario, use the "Copy from a Scenario" or "Create a Blank" functions in the "+ Add a Scenario" menu.

When copying from a scenario, select the scenario you want to copy (in this case, Scenario 1: "Tax Year 2023") to create a new, editable Scenario 2 that mirrors the 2023 tax return.
