Merging Households
How to "merge" households via the individual household screen.
While you can't completely merge two households together, two households can be effectively merged by moving any uploads contained in one household into another.

Navigate to the client's Household page and selecti the Returns tab on the left-hand side under Tax.

Click the small ellipses (...) to the right of the upload(s) under the "Actions" column.

Select the household you wish to move the upload to.

Once all uploads have been moved out of the household, the empty household can be deleted. Learn how to delete a household in this article.
Standalone Scenarios (Scenarios that were created manually without uploading a tax return), Tax Letters, Roth Projections, Insurance Documents, or Cash Flow Reports cannot be moved to other households at this time.
Once uploads have been moved, the taxpayers that you've can be edited or added by clicking Add Client under Clients in the Details tab of the household.
To edit the household name and include the new taxpayer that has been added, click the edit (pencil) icon at the top of the client Household screen in their Details page, as shown below.
