What will I see while the return is uploading?
Uploading a return can result in a successful upload right away OR you may see a caution indicator, meaning additional review is necessary by our OCR team.
Immediately after uploading a return, you will get a box that populates in the bottom right-hand side of the screen that looks like this:
The leftmost icon shows two arrows spinning in a circle - this indicates an upload is currently processing through the Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software.
The middle icon shows a document with a clock that will show returns that have been processed through the OCR software, but require a manual review by our OCR Support team.
The rightmost icon shows a check mark - indicating a return has been processed successfully through the OCR.
If you want to see more detailed information as it concerns the recently uploaded return document(s), you can expand this section by clicking on the carrot top (^) icon next to the check mark, as shown below:
