Starting March 31, 2025, Holistiplan’s subscription pricing structure for existing subscribers (as of 1/1/25) will transition from being based on Uploads to Households.
Why Households Instead of Uploads?
The shift to Households reflects our commitment to simplifying your planning process. By removing upload limits, your firm can focus on delivering exceptional tax, insurance, and estate planning without worrying about upload restrictions.
How Are Households Defined?
A Household is any household created on the Households screen within Holistiplan. For example, if you have 125 total households created, this will count as 125 total households on your plan.
When Will My Price Change?
Effective March 31, 2025, all existing customers who subscribed before January 1, 2025 will see the price change on their next renewal date. If you are due to see a price increase greater than 25%, your firm will receive a 20% discount for the first year of the updated pricing as a thank you for your loyalty.
Canceling your subscription after January 1, 2025 forfeits the 20% discount. On your renewal date in 2026, your subscription will increase to the standard price based on the number of Households you have at that time.
You don’t need to do anything now. We’ll remind you 2 weeks before the new price kicks in, and again before the discounted price ends in 2026.

What Should I Do Next?
- Access the Price Change Dashboard
- Review your current plan and make adjustments as needed.
- Review Your Current Households
- Check for empty or inactive Households that are no longer clients. Removing these can lower your total cost. You can read how to delete households here: How do I delete households?
- Firm admins can manage Households directly in the Holistiplan platform.
- Stay Informed
- We’ll send reminders three weeks before your 2025 renewal date and again before the discounted pricing ends in 2026.
